No experience is required. Most of our adult students are beginners when they first start. We have dedicated beginner-friendly classes and our instructors will walk you through the basics step-by-step so you feel safe and supported from day one.
Probably not! We have adults of various ages and fitness levels training together. Classes are scalable—you can go at your own pace, take breaks when needed and build up gradually. If you have specific health concerns, check with your doctor and let us know so we can adjust for you.
For your first class, wear comfortable workout clothing (like a t‑shirt and athletic pants) and bring a water bottle. If you decide to join, we will help you get a proper uniform (gi). Please arrive 10–15 minutes early so we can show you around and answer any questions.
Most adults train 2–3 times per week. At that frequency, you can expect to notice improvements in strength, mobility, cardio and confidence within the first few months of consistent training.
Safety is our top priority. We emphasize control, proper technique and respect at all times. Drills are introduced progressively, and any sparring is supervised and matched appropriately so that everyone can train hard while staying safe.
